A landmark event endorsed by the Belgian presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Strategic Navigation Forum is set to convene on 11 June in Brussels. This high-level gathering aims to pioneer discussions on the future of marine and maritime research and innovation, looking beyond 2025.
The forum emerges in response to the evolving needs of marine and maritime R&I priorities, stepping beyond the confines of the current JPI Oceans' Strategy Framework and the European Union’s Horizon Europe program. It represents a unique opportunity for stakeholders across the European marine and maritime ecosystem to collaborate, envision, and shape the future trajectory of research and innovation in this vital sector. All involved in science-policy, research funding, academia, industry, and civil society are welcome to contribute their insights and expertise towards a sustainable and prosperous future.
